12 Books You Need to Read In Your 20s

Hi y’all!

I shared on my Instagram a couple weeks about about how I am currently reading Atomic Habits and LOVING it! Truly transformational.

I got a request to do a book review on it when I’m finished… would others be interested in that??

Anyway, these books have all played a part in helping me become who I am today. They are full of so much goodness and wanted to share them!

Some of these are fun reads like Sisters First, I Owe You One and In Five Years. Easy, enjoyable, page turners.

Speaking of page turners, Redeeming Love might be my favorite book ever. I have read this book 3x and it makes me cry every. single. time. It’s such a great book and paints such a beautiful story of how God loves and cares for us.

Others, have given me a better sense of who I want to be and how I want to live my life.

Same Kind of Different As Me & When Breath Becomes Air are really well written and pretty quick reads but have such impactful stories!

Bob Goff. He’s such a neat and interesting guy! I got to listen to him speak one time when he came to Ole Miss my junior year:

All of his books are amazing. My favorites of his are Love Does, Everybody Always, and Love Lives Here (which was actually written by his wife!)

Annie F. Downs is my go-to gal when I need a laugh or some encouragement. Her writing is so real and relatable and she truly makes me LOL.

I read Speak Love for the first time when I was a sophomore in high school and it changed my life.

Later, when I was a camp counselor to 8 sophomore girls, I used the book as my nightly devotional with them and they really enjoyed it as well 🙂

I think I’ve read almost all of Annie’s books, but some other favorites that stand out are Looking For Lovely and Let’s All Be Brave.

What books have impacted you?

Thanks for reading!
